How The Dark Days Chronicles Came to Be

​

People have always asked what inspired me to write The Dark Days Chronicles. When I was younger, I read all the time. I read two or three books a month. I really enjoyed reading all types of friction and non-friction novels. I loved escaping to far-off places, letting my imagination take over.

 

I began to write plays, Christian plays, I truly wanted to direct them at church, but never got the opportunity to do so, with the exception of one. When my good friend had a daughter and named her Brydus, I thought it was a great name; she was the only person that I knew of with that name. So when I sat down to write my first romance novel that was the first name that came to mind.

 

I enjoyed creating the different characters, and how they sounded in my head. Many different ideas came to mind in developing the state of the world for my novel. So I set it in the future. I did that because I wanted Brydus to be different, I needed to make her unique.

While finishing Brydus some eighteen years later, it gave me ideas for another book, and I also had three other stories running through my mind. That’s when I decided to create a series using the same time frame, and expanded the stories into Central and South American.

 

I’m happy with the world that I have created, the strong sexy women that hold the lead character positions, and the men who love them, as well as the exciting plots within my stories.

This is my passion, and it gives me great joy to see what I have created come to life.
